Ashley Rhodes is an indie folk singer/songwriter and rock guitarist with a sound that has been described as honest, clear, and enchanting. She grew up on the seacoast of New Hampshire, where winter seems to never end and the ocean is always ice cold. Inspired by Jewel, Sheryl Crow, and Fiona Apple, she began quietly writing songs and poems for herself in her teens.
After nearly 20 years of fronting and backing Boston-based rock bands, Ashley takes a step back with her Unravel EP and focuses on stripped down arrangements that tell a story of a woman trying to unravel her true identity. This collection of songs covers break-ups, new love, redesigning old patterns, and what success can mean once you’re no longer in your 20s.
Ashley currently resides in the North Quabbin region of Massachusetts and performs regularly in the northeast United States.
